Sam Marino
Computer Teacher
Mr. Sam Marino is a graduate of Christ the King (2009), Bishop McGuinness (2013), and the University of Oklahoma (2017) with a BA in Psychology, Pre-Med and Spanish minor. After graduating, he worked as an ESL teacher at a Catholic school in Madrid, Spain. Upon returning to Oklahoma he took a break from teaching to study songwriting and performance, as well as start an original recording project which he continues today. In December 2022 he was featured on the Oklahoma Film + Music Website as the music career of the month. He is fluent in Spanish, and volunteers at a free clinic weekly as a Spanish-English medical interpreter. Having grown up in the formative years of the technological era, he is confident that his knowledge and understanding of computer technology will aid in his instruction of students.
“Computers will be a critical and inevitable part of the lives of our students for years to come. I hope that through my class instruction all students will graduate from Christ the King with a healthy, conscientious, and confident approach to computer technology and the internet.”
