Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
The Parent Teacher Organization supports the educational, academic, religious, and service goals of Christ the King School through fund-raising and the provision of volunteers. The PTO promotes goodwill and provides communication in the school community. Membership is open to the parish priests, administration, school faculty, parents and legal guardians of Christ the King students. Dues are $5 annually and paid at registration in August.
Meetings:
The annual meeting of the membership to elect board members and to transact other PTO business is held in April. PTO Board meetings are held monthly and open for all parents, faculty, administration, and priests to attend.
PTO Volunteer Activities:
Sign-up is during school registration. One parent from each family is required to sign-up for volunteer opportunities. This involves serving on a committee or working on an event. You do have the option of buying out your volunteer commitment which is currently set at $100. This price is determined annually by the PTO Board.
The children celebrate holidays with class parties. One parent per family is required to sign up to help with the planning and cost of one class party per child. You may select from Halloween, Christmas, Valentine’s Day or End of the Year parties. The average cost is $10 - $15 per party.
We ask parent volunteers to assist in the lunchroom and with playground supervision during recess.

Major Fundraisers: Auction, Golf Tournament, Gift Wrap.
Mini Fundraisers: Box Tops for Education, Barnes & Noble Book Fair, Johnnies Night, HideAway Pizza Night, Homeland, and Target cards.
